ABOUT THE TEACHER-Mrs. Graziani Hello, my name is Mary Ann Graziani. I live in MIchigan. I was married in 1991 to my husband, John. We have two sons. Christian is 14 years old and he is a sports fanatic. He is excels in every sport. His favorite is baseball, although he is involved in every sport imaginable. Joshua is 8 years old. His hobbies are science and art. He is a very talented artist. I save all his work in an art portfolio so that he can look back at it when he is a famous artist some day.
I have bachelors degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I received my Michigan Elementary Certification in 2003. I am currently pursuing my Reading Specialist Endorsement from Wayne State University.
I am a teacher and an author. I am an elementary teacher for Detroit Public Schools and I write and illustrate educational children's books during my summer breaks. I have published 7 books. You can view my books under the "Books Written by Mrs. Graziani" tab. I also write articles and do monthly math problems for Starteaching Newsletter.
MY MISSION STATEMENT
To teach and create meaningful and interesting learning activities and books in order to help students build a firm foundation for the skills needed to succeed. I want to empower students through my teaching to be self-directed, creative, lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
